Physical Checkup VR
A downloadable experience for Windows
In this VR simulation, a nurse will give you a full medical
checkup. Due to the intimate nature of the exam, this is strictly
Adults Only. The nurse is over 18 years of age.

GUIDELINES FOR NEW PATIENTS:

A) Make sure you are alone and that the door is locked. This will
help you avoid embarrasing situations.
B) Wear casual clothing, as you would in a similar situation in
real life.
C) No controllers needed, so just put them away. You will need to
have your hands free for certain parts of the exam.
D) We have done our best to make this experience as authentic and
lifelike as possible. But the immersiveness ultimately depends
on allowing yourself to get into the role. Don't analyze, review
or try to break the experience. Instead, just accept it.

This experience is based on OpenVR. It has has only been tested on Oculus Rift CV1, but should work with most VR systems.

awful
just a monstrosity with voice and no animations
This game sadly doesnt work for me as i get errors by opening the game, its telling me that the vr head set isnt detectable then closes down
Doesn't seem to work. All I get is the 'waiting' icon and a voice repeating 'Hello, this is a voice test'
Could never get any further than that
What TTS app/website did you use for the nurse?
stand up straight simulator
im having the same problem as Gamyr, she won't stop telling me to stand up straight
nevermind, i sat down and back up again and it worked
Last time I tried this, the nurse kept telling me to “Stand up straight”, but I WAS standing; Couldn’t get any farther.
It had not worked, maybe I launched it wrong somehow but it seemed to not work at all, i am going to keep on researching and blueedge if you can provide footage of this working or some sort of tutorial that will be really helpful
I think I figured out what blueedge was trying to say, Basically you go into the file explorer, basically like looking for some documents within the D drive itself, or when you open a Zip file inside a Folder while in the file explorer, but first if you have steam you launch SteamVr first then Launch the game directly from the File explorer. I am going to try this.
Really interested in trying this out, but I have the same issue as Sven and somedude. Seems like everything is working, but the headset screen is blank. Did anyone ever figure anything out here?

It's targets partly male parts.
Tested on Valve Index. Open steamVr first than start this program out of the explorer.
Tried it again. Don't know what you mean by explorer BlueEdgeCrazy but it still wont work for me.
Itch.io has the sandbox mode as standard activated. A lot of VR games don't connect with steamvr or occulus in this mode.
With right click on the game and click on open folder in the menu -> itch.io navigates to the installtion directory of the game with the file explorer of windows.
Open the game with click on the exe e.g. \itch\apps\physical-checkup-vr\Physical Checkup VR\Physical Checkup VR.exe
This works and it's a little bit safer than deactivating the sandbox mode for all games.
You can scan the exe-file with a antivirus tool to be a lit bit more on the safe side.
Oh, you mean in the app. No I download all games straight from the itch.io website and start the .exe files straight from the download folder.
I also just tried downloading the app and trying the way you did it and it still just showed up black with a clicking noise happening if I looked in the right direction.
Maybe Microsoft's Dependency Walker tool can help you. It tries to find the missing DLLs and other things by searching the program.
Alright so for me it's more of I just can't seem to find the .exe it's just the Physical Checkup Vr with the Icon App Game Kit if you did explain it could you please go through it again because i may have gotten lost somewhere. Thank you but I'll also keep re reading through this to see if I can find a wa to work it that way.
I tried The dependency walker tool and it gave me a lot of errors when I had it scan physical checkup. So I think the game is just straight up broken
So yep I can confirm right now or atleast for me that the game functions completely the only thing broken atleast for me is the game's visuals
Alright that didn't work so all I need to do is somehow fix the visual as it's just black so if anyone could help me out that would be great.
So I did install OpenVR doesn't seem to change anything, I'll delete and redownload it right now
Alright so just installed OpenVR anyone got any other things to help me out or am I gonna have to continue this on my own?
I think the issue may be is that I may not have OpenVR installed completely imma see if there is a way or im being stupid and open VR comes with steam when it detects you have a VR set

Greatish news I just figured out the game DOES work however not in the way you expect, you see it seems that the game does actually activate but it's like you're blind, so really you just can't see anything at all imma do some more investigating
Okay some new results, so now sometimes ocassionally it will go up to a grey and now when I press one of the oculus buttons it says "Hello, this is a voice test"
And yes I do acknowledge this project is probably dead but I still wanna try it. It seems interesting
Alright so I just downlaoded this game and also having troubles with it however I have an Oculus basically same as Sven, it seems to be functioning on desktop like showing me to put on my headset but when I do put it on the program is nothing but black and it does let me go back to the oculus library and stuff like that but it still doesn't seem to want ot funciton and sometimes it will have this flashing also it seems to turn on steam VR as if it's meant to be on steam or in a steam folder if someone who has had this working sucessfully could tell me how to install it I would appreciate it greatly.
Doesn't work with HTC Vive. All I get is a black screen. There is sound but nothing else. Help
